A Member of Fit Pro

Suzanne Rogers

Hi, my name is Suzanne Rogers and I am a qualified and insured Level 4 Pilates teacher who is committed to bringing you enjoyable and effective Pilates classes. I am a dedicated teacher who likes to keep up to date with current methods and teaching ideas. I regularly attend courses and workshops to increase my depth of knowledge. I am a member of FitPro (a membership body for qualified fitness professionals).

Anyone who has met me knows that I love what I do; it gives me a great deal of satisfaction to work with people and watch them develop and grow stronger as the weeks progress. It is lovely when a client tells me that they are no longer suffering with back ache or that their pain is significantly less than it has been for years. Clients are happy to see that their flexibility has improved.  A common conversation they have with me is that they are more aware of their posture as they go about their daily activities; they are consciously correcting how they sit or stand.

I place great emphasis on your safety during my classes and throughout the class will work with you to ensure you are working with correct technique. I adapt exercises according to your Pilates experience and take into account any medical conditions you may have. Pilates can be an excellent form of exercise for all age groups and abilities and is safe for a whole host of medical conditions (see 'Benefits' on the menu bar). If you attend my Pilates classes, I will work with you to help you develop your core strength and improve your posture, and by making sure you are working with good technique, I will help you get the most out of your lessons.

Work with Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

I have regularly delivered antenatal workshop on behalf of the above NHS Trust at the Sunshine Children's Centre, Warrington and the Westy Children's Centre, Latchford. At the workshops I taught expectant mums about the changes they will experience during their pregnancy and how those changes relate to their core strength and posture. I also talk about the 'Pelvic Floor' and issues around this subject area.
